Candle: A block of wax with a wick that creates light as it burns.

Our goal is to create sustainably sourced, high quality scented candles with authentic fragrances, inspired by visual memories and with an emphasis on scent, light, and color in harmony.

Candlemaking appeared during a period of limited freedom of movement in my life and gave a creative outlet to continue to create indoors by channeling past memories when outdoor exploration was not as feasible.

Many of my most valuable memories are photos - collections of pixels that represent specific memories. Just as photography captures light to preserve a moment, candles give light form to create one. 

PX Candles was founded on the idea of translating visual experiences into scents and bringing these to life in your space through fragrance. We take the essence of a memory, distill it to its basic elements, and transform it into a new sensory encounter. 

The study of visual media is the study of light. The flame of a candle gives life to art through light. The wax is the medium, the vessel is the tone, the flame is the soul, the scent is the message.

We hope these candles bring as much light into your world as we enjoy putting into them.
