PX Candles was founded on the idea of translating visual experiences into scents. We take the essence of a memory, distill it to its basic elements, and transform it into a new sensory encounter. 

The study of visual media is the study of light. The flame of a candle gives life to art through light. The wax is the medium, the vessel is the tone, the flame is the soul, the scent is the message.

Candlemaking appeared during a period of limited freedom of movement in my life. Many of my most valuable memories are photos - collections of pixels that represent something very specific to me. Just as photography captures light to preserve a moment, candles give light form to create one.
